The Gambia YMCA was registered as a non - profit organisation on the 18th June 1979 and was headquartered in a rented premises in Bamjul. It later moved to its own headquarters in Kanifin

Liverpool YMCA is working with Gambia YMCA to provide training for up to 150 people in bee keeping and subsequent sales and marketing of its products.
